The Lumber Loft

The Lumber Loft has a pretty unusual roofline that I haven’t seen before. Check it out.

Here is a Tiny House I just exhibited at “The Glamping Show” in the UK just south of Birmingham (Stonleigh Park).

A tiny house made by Custom Built in Surrey in Surrey, England.

While i dont think i could live in this full time i do believe that this would be excellent for the glamping community. Its beautiful the shape is interesting and i could totally see anyone spending short stints of thime in here very comfortably

This is an interesting design. However, the photos here beg the question about actual living/sitting space. If there isn’t any, I just do not understand this seeming trend in tiny house living.

I think that you can just about see a grey seating area next to the French doors on the photo looking from the back. It’s a very pretty design, but I’m afraid I couldn’t sleep in that loft, I’d end up rolling out, needs some sort of small wall/ barrier, it would be a lot safer.

The railing along the bed is not high enough to keep you from rolling off. Very unsafe! It really does need a sitting/TV area. Where do you sit down to read and relax?

I love what they’ve done with the space. I think if one would have this in a year-round ambient climate – say – like So Calif and build a nice deck . . . . it would be ideal.
But maybe there is more indoor “relax” space than it appears. That’s why I hate closely cropped pics when trying to show the features of a tiny home.

    That is really, really nice.

I think there is a lot of opportunity to add cabinets and shelves to provide a more practical amount of storage, of course. And omg YES there need to be higher rails on that bed.

You can see there’s some sort of sitting arrangements by the french doors, they just forgot to include a picture.

I think an add-on deck for the end with the french doors, and an extendable awning, and you’ve got something really great.

  • NO KIDDING THE BED IS SUICIDAL……..!!!!!!!

  • Krissy says:

Everybody is so concerned about the bed… Do you fall out of your bed at home regularly? I’ve slept in several beds that have been unusually high without rails and have never ended up falling out. The most dangerous part of this bed is going to be trying to figure out how to change the sheets.
