    BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love everything but the composting toilet. No human litter box for me!

I have never used a compost toilet, but I am game. I think in a world of scarce water, it makes no sense to take fresh clean water and drop urine and BMs in it to flush it away.

I’m not a fan of the composting toilet either
When I build mine that won’t be happening
      I love everything else

I really like the layout and it’s beautifully crafted. One question: why is the opening in the railing of the auxiliary loft in the middle, but the ladder on the side. The ladder didn’t look moveable to me – it’s attached to the fridge cabinet, right?

  • Kathy says:

Composting can’t be any worse than having an overflow! It’s amazing what people will put up with because they are used to it.

Pretty, pretty house. I might trade the bookcase/hutch for lounging room, and find a way to put backs on the dining chairs, but overall very pleasing.

    lovely. How much?

    Um,bookmarked! Gorgeous house!

Super nice, until you realize there is no living space. No sofa or comfortable chair. A bench would suffice for about ten minutes. I have a super tiny THOW but comfortable seating was a main priority. And mine is just used as a summer cabin.

Don’t like the composting toilet (prefer an Incinolet) and the pipe ladder to the second loft. I’d rather lose the bench seating and have a second storage staircase. Then I’d remove the wall table and put in an apartment oval table with two chairs that nest underneath. Other than these changes, I love it.

Very nice design. I would like to see more designs with the bed on first level. There is a market for retirees, elderly and disable if there are more designs. Affordable to those on fixed income, and low maintainace.

  • Patty says:

I like it! Refrigerator opens the wrong way…you have to step into living area to access it.

    • Annette says:

It does appear to open that way in the pix. But I have this exact same fridge. The company sends it along with alternate hinges such that it’s short work to change both doors to open in the direction of your pleasure.

Meantime after a couple of years use I can tell you that this is one of the best refrigerators on the market right now combining small space usage with silent operation and great organization especially in the freezer. I love mine – it has changed the way I cook, shop, and entertain.
