I adore round houses! This one’s prehistoric vibe and handcrafted quality are awesome. Imagine sitting by the fire, reading the first chapter of “Sarum”…
ARE THE CLOSED DOORS THE POTTY? WHERE DOES THE SMOKE GO FROM THE WOOD FIRE I DID NOT SEE A HOLE IN THE ROOF? ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH THE PIT HOUSES THAT ARE PARTIALLY SUBMERGED? SOME WITH EARTH OR SOD COVERING THE ROOF?
Very hobbitty. With a few alterations, I could live here. Nice and spacious. I’m not a fan of “rustic” but I guess this is the exception that makes the rule! 🙂

The roof is thatched. The smoke goes up through it. Pre chimneys.
I see a sink on a wood trunk pedestal next to a basic composting toilet in one photo. I don’t see it in the main room.
I could live here, contented.

The primal nature of your home has me swooning.
