Aurora is 16′ long and 8.5′ at the eaves. This little office features a built-in desk with fir top and sides and hand split cedar drawer fronts, a bench with space for storage beneath, pine book shelves with fir supports and a Hobbit wood stove. As in the Little Tribune, there is a stand for the stove so that you don’t have to crouch down on the floor to stoke the fire, and it also provides space for the boxes of fire wood and kindling. Aside from the built-in features there will also be another desk beside the bench and a filing cabinet beside (but not too close) the wood stove.

Lovely little building. Great windows.
really nice work space I love the stove plinth with storage.
Where did you get the wood stove and if not to much info, how much did it cost.
The stove is made in the UK by Salamander Stoves and is called ‘The Hobbit’. I believe they are available in North America http://salamanderstoves.com/
Hornsby Island Caravans did an especially nice job; noticeable craftsmanship. I’ll take one of these in a full size (8.5 x 24) THOW ;D Just insulate it for Canadian winters and I’ll be up to B.C. to get a piece of land to put it on. 🙂 Thanks for sharing! 😀
As the owner of this lovely caravan I can say that it is toasty warm in winter – good enough for its coastal location! And I LOVE this space 🙂
