Very well done–unpretentious, practical, and inviting. Feels like home, not a show model. 🙂 I love the bay window and the fact that the bedroom is somewhat closed in from the rest of the house, yet still open and fresh-feeling with the windows.

The only thing I would change if it were my house would be to extend the loft 2-3 more feet and make a sitting ledge in front of where the books are. With a guard rail of course…

I really appreciate the rising prevalence of stairs instead of ladders to the sleeping lofts!

This is beautiful and chock-full of practical ideas! It seems so spacious inside — very well laid out! I love the wood book shelf and the kitchen backsplash — gorgeous details.

What a lovely home you have.

The is the perfect tiny home I love it. Did you build it yourself?

I love this house! I look at a lot of tiny houses and I’m usually left with many questions, but not yours. I can clearly see the storage you have, a real sitting area, real kitchen and bath and a roomy bedroom with closet space. I love the storage built into the stairs and the drawer under the refrig. which lifts it to eye-level. Your house feels cozy and lived in, not a model showroom. You inspire me to try this. (And being a Margo myself adds to my delight!).
    Thanks for sharing!

This is the most efficient use of space I have seen in a tiny house. It looks and feels spacious, yet cozy and homey. Kudos for your great design!

Thank you all for the lovely comments. Yes my dad and I built it from scratch this summer. We came up with the design from looking at lots of tiny house designs online and years of my parents building regular sized homes together. It was an amazing experience and I love living in it now!

I love this Tiny House! I didn’t know that you could have a fire place in a tiny house, what kind of fireplace is it?
