Wine Bottle House

This tiny cabin in the desert (Joshua Tree) of California was built using the bottoms of 7,500 wine bottles. Lots of work, but obviously worth it!

Thank you for something without wheels. When on wheels everything is beginning to look alike. So glad to see this post and the other one as well.

I wonder how did you get the permits from Riverside County?
    Thanks

My guess is the size. You don’t have to get a building permit for a structure of 10′ x 12′ in my part of Cali (SF). But, it must not be used for maintaining human life. I was fitting out my shed (it actually has a view of the bay) for Air B n B when it was spotted by some city official. I was told I could keep the shed, but the curtains and the bed had to go!
