This mere 8’ by 8’ cabin is meant to be a simple, bare-bones, seasonal retreat in the woods- and a backwoods library of sorts. During future workshop gatherings it could also serve as a place where a pair of attendees might also be able to stay- complete with a sweeping view of the woods through its many windows.

I LOVE this. Deek is the pallet-whisperer, I cannot believe the things that man does with wooden pallets! Gorgeous!
Yet another example of Deek’s genius!
Deek has done it again! This little jewel is the perfect size, the perfect style, the perfect purpose, and the perfect price. If this isn’t nice, I don’t know what is. Thanks again and keep going.
This is such a great space! I’ve wondered about using the clear-ish corrugated material for a roof and wonder how it would stand up to the serious sun that we get here in the tropics.
love it!
Thanks all! Very kind of you. I’m pretty pleased with the way it came out, considering it was built for under $300, and out in the middle of the woods with hand-tools only…. no electricity up at my Vermont place…..
Bet that’s a magic place to sleep when it’s raining!
This is so cool! Where do I get the plans, so I can build one myself?!
What a sanctuary! Would love to have this cabin! Can’t believe it is built for under $300.
I would love to build this in my backyard one day! YOu Rock!
Please let me know when the plans and material list become available. Thanks. This is perfect!
