As just a summer “house” this is perfect! What a great setting, and the glass flooring is fun! I could handle this as my summer home! Thank goodness for the trees though with that roof!
Very cool and colorful! Although as much as I love trees, they are messy to live under and while the clear roof looks beautiful now being new, soon it will be covered in debris and a bitch to clean.
I liked the sheers around the bed since I’m sure bugs are a problem but I would also need dark curtains so I’m not forced up at sunrise. It’s a lovely summer place!
How enchanting! When I was a little girl. there was a small grove of young trees near my house. Sunlight, sifted through the leaves, landed on the ground – and on me – in dappled gold and green, shimmering when breezes whispered through the branches. This house brings me right back there. You have created something quite magical. Thank you for sharing the photos.
Is the rooftop made of plexci-glass or acrylic and does it withstand winds and snow? Have you given any thought to solar panels on the roof?
Its looks to me to be a corrugated Polycarbonate like Suntuf. Its made for roofing.
Beautiful. No heat retention, but beautiful.
