I like the design of this THOW, I’d make a few changes to suit me desire. I especially like the floor plan of the bathroom, the stairs and a place to place stackable washer & dryer. I couldn’t see in the other loft, it looked as if there were cabinets for storage that I like instead of having a lot out in the open and still have room for a twin bed. I would’ve liked to see a picture of the living area downstairs since I’d like to have my own sofa and table w/lamp and maybe a chair. All in all a nice design.
Building on the ground opens you up to minimum square footage and septic/water/utility requirements, and building codes that you don’t have to comply with for thows (tiny house on wheels).
Besides the excellent points Nunya makes–although I do want it built to code–I live in an area of constant wild fires. Beautiful dramatic scenery but I’d hate to build my home and then lose it to a wild fire. I’ve already lost two, so that’s why I’m considering a tiny home. It could be pulled out and away to safer ground in case of fire (or any other disaster with enough warning, except maybe earthquake). I don’t want to lose my home again, thus the advantage of a Tiny House on Wheels.
Most states have restrictions against that. You can build a 10,000 sqft house but a 300 sq ft is a no no and they poo poo it because they say It’ll drop the price of homes in the neighborhood that’s why!!
I really love Tiny houses, the design and color for me it was perfect, the shower room and the kitchen was amazing, It looks elegant and modern. Can you please tell me how much it will cost? Thank you so much this is a good post.
Don’t like the “honeypot” for a toilet!
isn’t that one of those self decomposting toilets?!? if so, i’m all for it!
Hi
Is there any way that the plans for this unit can be made available?

I lover the train. I would love a tiny home.
How about something built on the ground instead of these bland things on wheels

That would defeat the whole purpose of having living quarters that are taxed at a lower rate than a standard foundation house.
