The only thing I don’t like about this is that the bathroom is next to the kitchen.

I absolutely love what you have done here! 1) Unique use of dead space – I love the little bench set into the wall behind the counter and the extra desk under the stairs. The cubby above the range hood is so nicely thought out and secure for travel! I love the open shelving under the bathroom sink…lots of little spaces to tuck things. I wish the closet was full size – but the fact that it has a closet is awesome!

You have even managed to tuck in nice sized appliances and full living space without making the space feel dim or cramped. The couch looks truly inviting!! A warm little nook to read away an afternoon.

Thanks for sharing this! It is one of the nicest I have seen.

I absolutely love this. Everything about it is clean, grownup (as opposed to cutesy), and very very clever.

This is by far the most lovely, homey, realistic, well-thought out tiny homes I’ve ever seen. I could move in tomorrow and be very satisfied! The unique natural wood pieces (esp. the desk) are amazing!!! And the size of the master loft… . Kudos! When can I come visit?

Just love the whole look. Very well put together. Totally livable. Would deffinately consider that in a year or so.

Agree with everything Kristin E. said above. I’ve looked at this many time now, and every time I find some new detail I missed before like coordinated leather cupboard pulls, a lovely hook inside the door to hang a jacket, umbrella, or purse, so many storage nooks and crannies. This is the only THOW I’ve seen where I wouldn;t change a single thing. It’s gorgeous, and perfect.

Yep, my favorite design so far. Love the shiplap and open shelving. Bright and airy, with the warmth of the natural woods!

  • Brilliant. One of the best homes I’ve seen. Very smart and livable use of space. Great design. Favs are LR, staircase, eat in bar. Well done.

I have looked at a lot. This is my favorite ever…The seat against the wall. Love the bathroom. Comfy looking couch…for us elders that need some soft cousiony pillowy space to read, watch the weather, drink coffee and cook dinner. Yum! I don’t mind the bathroom next to the kitchen…It’s well designed bath…and its a tiny home. Thumbs up.

This is one of the nicest tiny homes I have seen! Love that you have a railing on the stairs (often overlooked in most TH’s)…..also think your use of space is fantastic, and just love that you rounded off tables etc so there are no hard edges (so very important)…..This tiny home is everything I would want, except I would have an electric stove. I take my hat off to you for your expertise!

Is there a builder closer to the East coast that builds similar to yours? Love so many things about it that many others don’t have.

  • Kathy says:

This entire home is stunning. The wood used for tables, etc. is gorgeous, and the lay-out is perfect. What a beautiful home! I could look at the pictures over and over.

Ditto what everyone already said plus – OMG – the coffered ceiling! The entire tiny house is so beautifully designed and finished. Love the bathroom, desk alcove, kitchen sink set at an angle, the little bench seat behind the counter, and on and on. I really don’t like loft bedrooms, but I think this is the exception that would make me reconsider! I want it!

WHAT!?!?!? Two lofts (with headroom), a staircase, washer/dryer, a desk, table with a built in bench, closet, living room area, fireplace, a real sink…….OMG! What isn’t to love. This isn’t a tiny house…..It’s a tiny mansion! I don’t know what else I’d want. So nicely decorated, too. Good looking on the outside. A++

Congrats on Handcrafted Movement on having such a strong design aesthetic – I immediately recognized some of the features this house shares with a previous house I saw a few years ago (strong grain steps, slanted sink placement, leather accents). All houses are show stunning craftsmanship and enviable layouts.

  • Anna says:

This is the BEST use of space in a tiny house I have ever seen! In fact, there are so many great solutions which can be used in a “regular” house as well.

  • Blake says:

have been pouring over tiny house designs for 5 years and this is the most wonderful (design/layout and beauty) I’ve seen. Congrats.
