Oh my goodness, what a great job you did, and what an inviting space! Love it love it love it. Would love to know how you cook, and, and,

    er….is there a bathroom? Outhouse?

Usually when I’m fantasizing about my tiny home, it MUST HAVE FACILITIES, but I’m sure that stumbling to the outhouse in the middle of the night in Hawaii is a lot more pleasant than currently 12 degree New York.

    In any case, GREAT JOB!

That’s gorgeous! Did you restore the exterior too?

  • Good job!.. I’m sure your work will motivate a lot of people!!

What an efficient use of space, Jennie! Very aesthetically pleasing too! I loved Paia when I stayed in Hawaii… A beautiful small town with big ideas 🙂

Oh my gosh – I’m in love with this! Is there a bathroom and kitchen? I love this so much!

Very nice job on the restoration. How long did it take you? I am gathering all info. I can because I hope to start building myself a tiny house in the next couple months.

  • I am currently in transition from a one bedroom apartment to a ‘shared’ home with other single adults to save some money and hopefully within 2014 have my own vintage trailer! My personal space is a 12×12 bedroom with a couple of kitchen cabinets and a bathroom shelf. What does not go into my room, in the closet or under the bed has now found a home somewhere else. I’m determined to “downsize” to live life LARGER! You did an amazing job! I love the remodel and it is quiet inspiring.

I love this … great design. I live in my 50′ Spartan Executive Villa. I would have loved to see how they got yours to Hawaii.

Love the accessories! And the Gustav Klimt!! 🙂

Thanks for the inspiration ! Looks great! But , just wondering …does it have a kitchen and bathroom? Love it!

    Astonishing! Applause, applause!

Ours is gutted and waiting for a new trailer. Yours looks like it won’t be towed. I absolutely love what you have done with it. A truly beautiful, livable place. I would like to see the bathroom and kitchen. Love that you turned the end into a closet! We have a ’55 royal mansion that we had to totally gut and ended up with a trailer that literally fell apart. Ours has to be towable and keep the two of us and four poms from killing each other!

I just can’t say how much I like the fact that you were able to find beautiful, old stuff and make it so wonderful. Great job.

  • Love this! It looks so comfortable. 🙂

  • Nice job on the restorations. Did you spend alot of money?

  • Har says:

Awesome! Let me know when you need a trailer sitter.

I’m fascinated with these older travel trailers, so many possibilities… Jennie do you have a website or blog where you have covered your trailers restoration?

Dear Jennie: I sure hope you see the positive comments directed at your artistic endeaver.

And from one artist to another, “Thank You” for debunking the myth that if you live in a tiny house, you MUST live like a monk with a mattress on the floor, one cup, one plate and not much else.

LOVE your giant “Three Bears Bed”!!!! Also, all the found objects/bartered objects and the wicked cool Day of the Dead surf board.

It’s people like you and your Mum who show people tempted by tiny house living that they do NOT need to dump 99.9% of their belongings and they can still live small but grandly.

Your photos brought me much joy, today. 😀

    Really, really rockin’ tiny pad.

Only thing I don’t like is the headboard covering the windows and the corridor-like linearity of the furniture placement.

But that’s just me. Super cool, really great vision and execution. Thanks so much for sharing!

One of the coolest looking homes i’ve ever seen! You should be quite proud of what you’ve built…i would live there in a second!
The outside had me completely fooled, i had imagined some retro looking rv furnishings and too small spaces, this is just so impressive it’s inspiring me…

Love it! Could you tell me where you got the desk?

    • Jan says:

Hey, Jennie..how did you find the weatherstripping for the windows? And doors? Where you able to reuse them? I’ve got a 40 ft Spartan that I’m gathering materials to remodel, but not gut out. I’ve got a few roof leaks to do 1st…someone that’s done this, please give me advice!
