It is really simple it has a sink, gas hobb, gas fridge, solar panel, stereo. Couch that folds out to a single bed. Double at the back and a wee coal range.Hi Swoon, here is Fredo a 1976 J2 Bedford The old Darfield school bus -New Zealand. ( It was converted by Piers Wilkinson whose house trucks are parked next to Fredo in one of the pictures.)
Our Family has had it for about 10 years and it is our all time best holiday home. Keeping it running is getting more expensive but there are almost no cool old school house buses left in New Zealand these days and we attract quite a bit of attention when we drive around.
As it was a school bus it seems to still attract children where ever we go. Little boys in particular love sitting in the drivers seat and pretending to drive it!!
We load it up and off we go. Everything we need. Kind regards, Sarah

Why not Frodo?
Very cool,though.
I am so sure I’ve seen the red one (last picture) whilst I was in NZ in Hawkes Bay! My friend and I went to have a look a the camping ground near Te Awanga (Clifton Road), I’m sure I saw it there! Amazing!!
