Flow’s Zen Buggy

My name is Flow and I wanted to share with you the vardo I designed this year & with the help of my builder friend Tim, the guys @ Imperial door, Scott @ NPMetalRoofs.com and reclaimed wood from Bug @ Heritage Salvage, my dream became reality!
Built on a modified 5×8 ft. landscape trailer my Zen Buggy was created for meditation, sleeping and dreaming.
The floor and window and door trim is reclaimed doug fir that were once high school bleachers, The two side benches were from naturally felled old growth redwood from the Humboldt forest, the ceiling is Birch with cedar trim & the window sill is Black acacia.
My bed frame is western red cedar around a Ranma carved in Japan in 1910 and backlit with l.e.d’s.
The door is reclaimed redwood from an old barn, and the siding is redwood mill ends with cedar trim & birch awning.
The roof is a metal called Galvalume which helps keep the interior cool when hot outside.
Insulated with EcoBat recycled eco groovy insulation and painted walls are Bio shield clay paint. All wood was staind with Pennofin verde’ eco hip oil.
I have radiant heated floor which keeps it perfectly cozy on these cooler winter nights.
I hope you enjoyed a peek at my Zen Buggy
