Autonomous Tent As far as tents go, this is about a sweet as they come. Posted bytiny house listings July 8, 2016 in Posted in tiny-house 10 A 500 square feet tent overlooking The Pacific Ocean in Big Sur, California. More info. here.
Interesting and different. I like it!
…and I’m more than tired of all the Tumbleweed clones that we see here. People are more innovative than that… c’mon, let’s see the /unique/ ones 😉
My comment made on 8 July is still “awaiting approval” the evening of 10 July. Obvious bias is obvious.
Perhaps someone should go off to journalism school and learn exactly /why/ this is bad…?
Ah, there we go. Approved 🙂
I have to say I’m mildly impressed. Ya’ll get a gold star.
Thats all the pics??
A few more inside pictures would be nice??

Thanks for featuring the Autonomous Tent at Treebones Resort!
This looks cool but, ……………………. I’m not sure I understand why??????
I would think a cabin would be cheaper, would last longer, be more secure, etc!!! It looks well built and liveable though.
I am not seeing that this is meant to be lived in as much as used for a getaway cabin. It certainly will meet or exceed the California State Earthquake requirements in the building code.
This might be fine for a weekend getaway, but I wouldn’t want to live here permanently. And, hopefully, there aren’t any hungry bears around.
Really nice modern desing
