      This is a wild guess, but with cottages in Scandinavia, outhouses are common. They can actually be really cozy! :)

    The raised living area is really nice way to separate the area without fracturing the home. Also helps people see out the big windows behind the kitchen counter. I really like this house.

    I wish I could see what the roof is made of? ? ? Looks almost like dark blue astroturf on my pad!

    This is the best design I have seen. Wish it was in the US. I would add a small bathroom.
