This is adorable and a great alternative to a traditional camper! Love the slide out cooler feature.

    beautifully constructed

I do not understand why the inside finish do not resemble the outside finish. It looks like someone got bored and just wanted to finish the job as quickly as possible. The “steampunk” look is not in harmony with the nicely finished out shell.

I know the builder and I have spent time in this Caravan. It is built exactly like he wanted it. He wasn’t building it to be harmonious with someone else’s vision but rather to satisfy his own artistic ambition. Some of the boards on the interior are reclaimed ceder planks that led down to the ocean. Andrew is an avid surfer from South Africa orginally and he build it to be used on his surfing trips. The Eclectic nature of this Caravan expresses The Eclectic nature of its Builder who got his start working on ships. Picasso was proficient at drawing photo-realistic figures as well as any artist, but he chose to do something different that was much more interesting to him. He had plenty of critics as well. Instead of criticizing the esthetics, look for what is brilliant and different about Andrew’s surf wagon and celebrate the diversity and creativity it exemplifies.

I’ve seen this one in person in Leavenworth WA. Cutest little thing. I stopped my car in a parking lot to rubber neck and was absolutely in love with this Vardo. Beautiful craftsmanship and design.

This vardo is so well crafted! I can’t stop looking at the different and interesting things throughout the cabin.
It says it contains a toilet, but there was no photo. I am guessing it may be hidden under one of the cushion seats.
    Impressive!

Stunning workmanship, again! Just as beautiful as the last one!

Wow, just wow! This would be so cool for glamping/cross-country trips. The craftsmanship is incredible and imaginative. Too small for FT living but for CC trips, I could see myself doing this!
