The Peacock

Rob builds tiny houses then puts them in the desert for people to stay in. The Peacock tiny house with a rooftop deck is one of them.

I like that the “under-counter refrigerator” is up at least a little from the floor.
Is the ceiling in the loft as high as it looks in the photo? It’s a beauty.
I notice that the top stair on the climb to the loft is not one of those that encourages a person to enter the loft on his or her knees. How well does that work?
Love your scenic photos of the Peacock. Were those pictures taken in Clark or in Nye county?

Fantastic layout. I love the concept of the rooftop deck replacing the second loft. The interior has a lot of architectural interest with the varying ceiling height and exposed woodwork, and I like the placement of the couch and dining table.

Can’t find where to just post a comment so I’m trying here. Love the layout/design of the Peacock. Especially like the stained glass windows – adds old tyme charm and looks REALLY good, plus adds to the very homey feeling. I realize that this is a vacation tiny home but if it were mine, I’d give up some counter space for a small 4 burner stove w/ oven and a larger refrigerator. Disappointed to see a space heater in the living area. The loft bedroom looks like it has a fairly high ceiling (YIPEE) and is bright. BEAUTIFUL scenry.

This is by far the best tiny house I have ever seen!!!

This is gorgeous. I’m finishing interior of mine and can’t wait to move in, but this is one of the loveliest Ive seen with clearly defined spaces, ie. Living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. All comfortably functional with no need left out. Love it!

I would love to retire there!?

What an atmospheric beauty, and it looks crazy comfortable, too! I have only been in wet, green places but I may have to brave a desert for this one! For sheer fun, I would rent this over a casino hotel any day, should I find myself in Vegas.

A staircase with banister, yay! Love your TH, love the painted sink, the aesthetics are beautiful, AND it’s liveable. Agree with Cheryl abt what it would take to make it a full-time residence—not much more! Congratulations on a wonderful job.

That’s a really nice layout. It’s also nice to see the bannister/railing on the “proper” side of the stairs…the side you fall off. 😉

Really well done. Interesting isnt it how the farther away from it all you get the more brilliant the night sky. Now that was just begging for a deck to be built wasnt it.
