The Gypsy Mermaid The Gypsy Mermaid in Florida is one of those tiny houses where you can see the loads and loads of preparation that went into the build. Posted bytiny house listings August 1, 2017 in Posted in tiny-house 48 Pages: 1 2 3
Well, this is simply one of the most unique and gorgeous tiny houses I’ve ever seen anywhere. I’d never want to leave this one.
Thank you so much Paige
Just gorgeous! Such unique touches throughout. Love the arched window over the dinette area. I even love the loft (and I am not a fan of lofts) and the beamed ceiling. The exterior is amazing. What a beautiful place to live. Congrats.
Thank you so much Jana
My husband doesn’t share my tiny house fantasy, but this one is truly lovely and unique.
This is stunning inside and out!
Simply elegant! Your unique artsy touches and creative architecture make this retreat very special. The loft bedroom is a sun filled divine haven. The fireplace is a fabulous focal point. I could go on and on. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutly love everything about this!! If anyone has a similar one and is willing to sale please contact me: email@example.com
This one is a work of art for sure. Lovely.
How beautiful and charming!
Very elegant tiny home. I like where the bathroom is located. Some have it near the kitchen. This home is longer than some i have seen on tv. Very very pretty.
Is there any information available about the build of the gypsy mermaid? I would love to hear more about it!
Thank you! Yes, please see our website gypsy-mermaid.com
I’m fascinated by the tiny house movement. If I were 45 years younger I would definitely have my own. Yours is truly a work of art. I love it!
HELLLLL – OOOOO – Come to Mama!!
Never been a big “fan” of the gypsy wagon design – but this is absolutely fabulous!!
This is splendid! Oh, it’s beckoning me! I love, love, love everything about it!
Thank you so much!
Just incredibly stunning
Absolutely stunning. I just wish we had trailer details and construction details, for those of us starting the “research and planning” process.
Please see our website@ gypsy -mermaid.com Thx!
I love. I want. Did you build from plans (that are available)? Like others have said, I would never want to leave. How much did it cost you to build, if you don’t mind me asking?
We did our own plans. I am offering plans and consulting. Information will be on my Instagram @ ms.frogg thank you!
An amazing use of space with amazing detail. I’m very interested in the wood stove plans
lovely..thanks for sharing. One can see the care and thought that went into the design of this home. It reflects those that live there and a joy of living!
More info is on our blog gypsy-mermaid.com and I am also setting up a site to offer consulting and plans! Follow me on Instagram @ms.frogg
Very tasteful bohemian style, love it!
This clearly is the best I’ve seen on wheels! I could so live here . . . and for the most part I don’t find myself saying that about tiny homes . . . they’re cute, they’re too angular, they just don’t have any ‘jazz’! This one does, and the kiva is outstanding! The steps are reasonable with good storage, and the bath sink being clear is genius! Thanks so much for showing what can be done with a fabulous esthetic perspective!
Thank you so much!
THIS I LOVE! Your “eye” is unique and very special. Thank you for sharing!
there are so many really “nice” touches, none is above the others. well done!
scott (also fla.)
Wow with the masonry stove! It’s the first I’ve seen in a tiny house. Congrats on a beautiful design.
Thank you so much!
The attention given to even the smallest detail in this beautiful home, is beyond compare.
WOW! My smile continued to grow with each new pic. This is such a warm, welcoming, charming, whimsical, completely happy home. 5+ stars!
This is absolutely the most beautiful, fun, creative, I-want-to-live-here-now tiny homes I have seen. Thanks for sharing!!!!
I mean home…. not homes 🙂
Just gorgeous! I love everything about it, especially your artistic touches!
THE most unique & beautiful TH I’ve seen EVER, after a number of years of checking any & every one out there. What a FABULOUS job you did!!!
Really unique and a labor of love. I wonder, though, about the weight of the masonry stove and some of the other features like the marble, roof beams, and stucco finishes. If this is meant to be on the move, I’m curious about what it takes to haul it.
Thank you so much everyone !
Beautiful! All that cobb wall work must weigh a lot. May I ask how much your home weighs? I would love to do something similar but need to buy the right trailer.
Are you considering building another for resale?
I love the name.
I love the look.
I love the style.
May be my most favorite one yet!
Good on YOU!
Amazing in so many ways! I love this uniquely wonderful house.
HOlY GUACAMOLE!!!! who is your builder?
WOW! It would take a month to take in every bit of this home and how could you ever tire of looking at it?! The woodwork is gorgeous, it has whimsy, charm, elegance and mermaids! You done great!!! I stand up and applaud.
I saw your home on “Living Big In A Tiny House” and felt a kinship. Moving to Florida as soon as I can and might apply many of your ideas and the French Country style to a fifth-wheel or RV as my husband would not be able to do this. Also I imagine the day we couldn’t do the steps to the bedroom and think a modified cargo trailer could be a similarly decorated and mobile “addition”. I must admit the weather in FLA is a concern and wonder about some type of weather safe shelter. Thanks for sharing your lovely home. PS your dot com is not functional 🙁
Big time fan of your home. I’ve actually been working on building my own THOW, for the past couple years, that’s slightly similar in look and feel as well!
My husband and I are building on a salvaged RV trailer as well and I wanted to ask what your total dry weight came in at? Did you wind up having to do any further reinforcement on your frame such as an axle upgrade? Our axles, together, are rated at 7000 lbs, so I’m trying to figure out what I can get away with realistically.
Thank you so much in advance!
