As you could imagine this off-grid/tiny’ move toward sustainability has put us through some tumultuous moments. But then somehow it passes and a productive dose of serenity follows. Honestly, sometimes we wonder if that damn tiny studio will ever get finished! What I’m trying to say is that our project is many pages away from the last chapter. Those interested in our story should understand that our efforts are a work in progress. I view myself as a creative artist who may take many years to complete that one masterpiece. So get comfortable, be patient and find your inspiration.
An off grid 120 square feet studio cabin on 5 acres in the foothills in The Rocky Mountain in Colorado. Owned and shared by Michael Hudson and Magda Sokolowski. More info. here.
Love the look of it. I am SO interested in building something like this. And your location looks heavenly. May I ask what part of the country that’s in?
Thanks for sharing this with everyone! 🙂
Its so beautiful.
Hmmmm, cute place but after reading their blog, it seems like it’s more of an on-going Art Project than someplace you’d call “home”. They are also advertising for like-minded folks to join them out there, but with NO WATER SOURCE and no power source, it would have to be some hearty soul to live like that. I get solar/wind power but no water? Yikes!
Wish I could have located some photos on their site where this place looked “lived in”; the photos may be there but I couldn’t find them. Just lots of nice interior shots of a stool and a tool box. Well, it’s “Minimalist” to be sure! LOL
