    Love this layout…
Do you have a floor plan/ blueprint available?

    • Sharon Brown says:

Thanks for sharing! That is gorgeous. You must be deadly busy to not reply to anyone, but if you ever do, I would be interested in buying your plans from you!

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much, Cindy! I do intend on making the plans available. However, we made so many necessary changes from the original plans while building the tiny house that they are no longer anywhere near accurate. It will take me a while to re-create the plans to ensure accuracy, so if you’d like to subscribe to my YouTube channel at (Erin Adams: Living the Dream in a Tiny House)… I will post the availability of the plans as soon as I am able to re-draw them. Again, thank you!

Hi Erin!! Beautiful finished product! My partner and I are in the process of designing a tiny home out of shipping containers! I feel inspired by you’re layout. I’m wondering what the he height of your house is to have been able to include the lofts? Thank you!

      • Debra says:

I have Multiple Sclerosis andneed a tub for medical reasons and have no means of a regular home as my finances are so limited. This is the perfect home for me. I will subscribe to your YouTube channel because this is my dream home

      • Layne says:

Can you please give us an idea on the cost to build this beautiful tiny home? We LOVE IT!

        • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so very much, Layne! I will be posting a video discussing the overall total cost of the build, and the exact pricing breakdown in the very near future. As I was doing research, I had a very difficult time finding actual pricing information, so I will be sharing the itemized build cost with you soon. My total cost for the entire project was $72,000. This includes the $7000 custom trailer, all labor, materials, furniture, finishes and appliances. Please feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXgbRPWDxe87aV5gOOITEHA?view_as=subscriber and stay tuned for the video on the itemized price breakdown!

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much, Cindy! I absolutely do intend on sharing the plans. However, we made so many necessary changes throughout the build that the original plans are nowhere near accurate any longer. I will re-draw the plans and should have them completely updated soon. If you’d like, please subscribe to my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXgbRPWDxe87aV5gOOITEHA?view_as=subscriber) and you will be notified as soon as the plans are available. Thanks again!

    • Melissa J. says:

I would be interested in buying the blueprint as well!

  • Colleen says:

2 yrs…ugly on the outside, but Swanky on the inside. Lovely!

  • Janine says:

Are you supplying the house plans to purchase? Love it. Best I have ever seen.

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much, Janine! • Jen says:

So perfect! I love how you’ve delineated rooms while still keeping it light. Would you mind sharing the final cost and builder?

    • Erin Adams says:

Thanks so much, Jen! The total cost of the tiny house was $72,000. This includes the $7,000 custom trailer (with flush cross-members and dropped axles), all labor costs, construction materials, furniture, equipment, finishes and appliances. My builder was simply spectacular and I recommend him highly!! His name is Ricky Wright at Wright on the Level, LLC and can be reached at wrightonthelevel@gmail.com Again, thank you so much for your kind feedback on my tiny house!

  • Catmille says:

You have a beautiful tiny home. One of the best designs and layout I’ve ever seen.

  • JoAnne Doughty says:

Simply beautiful! Master of creativity utilizing every nook and cranny with grace!!

  • Penny says:

That TH is absolutely gorgeous! Best one I’ve seen. The only thing I would change is to have a bed downstairs.

    • Sharon Brown says:

The ed is up some stairs if you look closer…

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much, Penny! I considered having a fold-down or pull-out bed in the living room, but since I live alone, I opted for the turquoise sofa instead. You can most definitely modify these, or many other plans, to achieve a bed on the main level. Again, thanks!

    • Brenda J Lee says:

I absolutely love this tiny house. Could you let me know the price and if it’s available?

      • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much, Brenda! I do intend on making the plans available for purchase. However, we made so many necessary changes from the original plans while building the tiny house that they are no longer anywhere near accurate. I am working on re-creating the plans now to ensure accuracy, so if you’d like to subscribe to my YouTube channel at (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXgbRPWDxe87aV5gOOITEHA?view_as=subscriber)… I will post the availability of the plans as soon as I am able to re-draw them. I am also planning to post a new video discussing the breakdown of the pricing. As I was trying to research my build, I had a very difficult time finding actual costs to estimate my project. My total cost was $72,000 and this includes the $7,000 trailer, all labor costs, construction materials, furniture, fixtures, all finishes and appliances. Again, thank you!

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you for reaching out to me, Lisa! I designed and built The Luminare to fit my specific needs, as i plan to live in it full-time. The total cost was $72,000 and that includes all labor, the $7,000 custom trailer, all construction materials, furniture, fixtures, equipment and appliances. If you are on a tighter budget, you could certainly make many cost-saving changes. My builder was Ricky Wright of Wright on the Level, LLC in Sylva, NC. He can be reached at wrightonthelevel@gmail.com with any tiny house construction needs. I will be posting a video discussing my itemized budget soon on my YouTube Channel. Please feel free to subscribe to my channel so that you will be notified when I post the video. My channel is at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXgbRPWDxe87aV5gOOITEHA?view_as=subscriber. Again, thanks so much for taking the time to view my house and reach out to me!

  • Kimberly Starks says:

    I love this
Please share your plans what was your cost when finally completed. I want to make one just like this I’m in oregon

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much, Kimberly! Also, on my YouTube channel, I will be uploading my next video on the itemized cost breakdown for my tiny house. As I was doing research for my build, I had a very difficult time finding real-time costs for the project. I hope this will be helpful for others. The complete cost for my project was $72,000, which includes the $7,000 custom trailer, all labor costs, construction materials, furniture, fixtures, equipment , finishes and appliance. Again, thank you!

  • Lois says:

I am very interested in tiny houses, but as an older person l know that tiny houses too often have lofts reached by stairs and ladders which eliminates me. I would love to see more downstairs bedrooms that are accessible to people who are not able to climb stairs.
I am pretty sure there are lots of others like me.lois

    • Michael says:

Have you looked at the design of tiny houses in airstream trailers? They’re aerodynamic design naturally limits then to a single floor without a loft.

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you, Lois and I do believe that you are correct! As an interior designer, I am planning to design and publish plans that do offer a “master” on the main level! I think there are a lot of people that would prefer that kind of floor plan. Admittedly, it may take a while before I’m able to complete these plans, but please stay tuned!!

  • Linda says:

Love this tiny home. Will you be pulling it at all? What does it weigh? Or will it be towed and placed permanently? Loved the Small House movement by architect Sarah Susanka. And now the Tiny home movement as well. We don’t need to accumulate so much stuff. I am 70 years old and have simplified my life and have really paired down. It is so freeing.

    • Erin Adams says:

Yes, indeed!! Thank you so much, Linda and I found it to be very liberating once I finally decided to downsize and get rid of all the extra “stuff” I had amassed over the past 25 years! Sarah Susanka was definitely an inspiration to me too. My tiny house is actually being towed to the weigh station this Friday, but I expect it to be around 14,000- 15,000 lbs. It can be towed by 3/4 ton pick-up truck and I have secured someone to move it this week. I must admit that I am nervous about it. I do not plan to move it often, as I have purchased a piece of unrestricted land that I will be living on full-time. Wish me luck on the big move!

  • Suzanne Stanford says:

Beautiful. How much did this house cost you?
Also, where is the bathroom? Besides the cost of the house, what are your additional costs?

    Thanks!

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much, Suzanne! If you look at the picture that shows the hallway to my bedroom, the sandblasted glass pocket door on the right side of the hallway is the entrance to the bathroom. So the bathroom is located underneath my mast bed area. The total cost of the project was $72,000. This includes the $7000 custom trailer, all labor costs, construction materials, equipment, fixtures, furniture, finishes and appliances. I will be sharing a video very soon regarding the itemized cost of the project. When I was researching and planning my tiny house, i had a very difficult time finding exact pricing for tiny homes, so I’m hoping this will help others. If you’d like to subscribe to my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXgbRPWDxe87aV5gOOITEHA?view_as=subscriber), please do so and you will be notified when the new video has been uploaded. My only additional cost will be the small, unrestricted piece of land that I am purchasing to put the tiny house on. And of course I will have the typical electric and water bill, though I expect these to be substantially smaller than my previous 1200 square foot house. Thanks for reaching out to me, Suzanne!

  • Linda Perretta says:

OMG…I love it. Can I buy one?

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much, Linda! My builder is Mr. Ricky Wright, of Wright on the Level, LLC in Sylva, NC. He can be reached at wrightonthelevel@gmail.com if you’d like to speak to him about possibly building a tiny house for you. Obviously, I’m deliriously happy with my finished product and give him the highest recommendation!

  • Tamra Lee Monroe says:

This is gorgeous! One of the best tiny homes I’ve ever seen!

  • Sarah J Thomas says:

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your footprint. The design is the best I have ever
seen. I lust after tiny homes, and one day I will have one just like this!!!
    Thank you for sharing
    Sarah T

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much, Sarah!! Like you, I was falling all over myself with jealousy when seeing everyone else’s tiny homes. Having FINALLY made the decision to downsize my life and follow suit…. I couldn’t be anymore thrilled about it! It has truly been a liberating experience!

  • Jeff English says:

How much did this Tiny House cost?

    • Erin Adams says:

Thanks for your inquiry, Jeff. My total cost for this house was $72,000. This includes the $7000 custom trailer, all labor, construction materials, equipment, furniture, finishes and appliances. I had a difficult time locating specific costs for other tiny home builds as I was doing my research. So, I plan to upload a video of my itemized costs to my YouTube channel in the very near future (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXgbRPWDxe87aV5gOOITEHA?view_as=subscriber). Please feel free to subscribe to my channel if you would like to be notified when the itemized budget video has been posted, as it breakdown individual costs, such as roofing, labor, insulation, etc. Again, thank for reaching out to me, Jeff!

  • Catherine Hauter says:

Absolutely amazing, best tiny home I’ve seen yet. Just love!

  • Dea Wright says:

Would LOVE to see more photos! Looks wonderful, cozy, comfortable and inviting!

  • Sandra Webb says:

I love your imagination. You took your time and thought out your space. Best design for Tiny House I ‘ve seen. Beautiful.

  • Annelies joss says:

Gorgeous! I’m hoping to go tiny some day soon, and this is by far my favorite tiny house!

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much, Annelies!! After years of considering going tiny, I am so happy that I did! It’s been both challenging and rewarding, but the one that surprised me the most was just how liberating it was to get rid of all of my “stuff”!!!

  • Lora Schultz says:

A very neat idea of these tiny houses. Need to do them to help the homeless.

  • Molly Cogan says:

Weoild you mind sharing your plans? Could this be built on a foundation and qualify as a home rather than be licensed as an RV? Can you share some of the materials and sources you used? What was your final cost?

    • Erin Adams says:

Thanks so much for reaching out to me, Molly! I do plan on sharing my plans, but after all of the necessary changes that were made during the construction process, my original plans are nowhere near correct! It will take me some time to re-draw the plans to reflect what we actually built, so please stay tuned. The total cost of the build was $72,000, and includes the $7000 custom trailer, all labor costs, construction materials, equipment, furniture, finishes and appliances. As I was doing research before beginning to build my house, I had difficulty finding exact numbers to approximate the cost, so I’ll be sharing a detailed video on my YouTube channel about the specific costs for each item. If you’d like, please feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXgbRPWDxe87aV5gOOITEHA?view_as=subscriber) so that you will be notified once I upload the video. As for changing the home to be stationary and on a slab, I’m honestly not sure. This would need to be dictated by the residential codes that are used in your area, so it would take some research to determine if this was an option for you. Thank you!

  • Maggie Periman says:

How much was this to build, I absolutely love it. I’m wanting to buy a tiny house in the future.

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much, Maggie! • Pamela Eslinger says:

Love it! Especially the stairs going up to the bedroom. I hope to have a tiny house one day but hate the idea of using a ladder to get to the bedroom. I love how the high windows let in so much light. A few questions, if I may: 1.) Is the frosted clear door on the way to the steps leading to the bathroom? 2.) How do guests get to their bedroom? 3.) What did it cost to build – minus the furnishings? This is very well done – great job!

    • Erin Adams says:

Thanks so much, Pamela! I had several “deal-breakers” when designing my tiny home: (1) no ladders to access my bed (2) complete standing room to get dressed (3) a full sized bathtub and (4) a large closet. It took me quite a while to get the design right where I wasn’t having to sacrifice on any of the above deal-breakers, but I’m thrilled with the outcome! To answer your questions, yes… the sandblasted glass pocket door on the rights side of the hallway is my bathroom. I live alone and don’t frequently have overnight guests, but the guest sleeping loft is accessed by a lightweight metal RV ladder. When not in use, the ladder is stored on the wheel well behind my sofa, so it is hidden from view. Again, thank you so much for your questions, Pamela!!

  • Ken w says:

In all the years I’ve enjoyed tiny house designs, this is the best layout I’ve ever seen!
Some changes could be made to increase space and storage(although this design is impressive)
overall its beautiful inside and out! Well done!

  • I am very interested in this new housing idea. It has become a dream and goal of mine. I live in Morganton NC . I AM INTERESTED AND DESIRE a guestimation of the potential cost to make my own little home . Please contact me and give me advice…

    Thanks in advance,
    Winfield Crews
    828-838-7287

    • Erin Adams says:

Thanks, Winfield! You only live about 1 1/2 hours from me and I’m happy to meet with you and talk about the total cost with you. First, let me invite you to my Open House this Saturday, June 9th from 9am- 12noon at Mark Watson Park in Sylva, NC! I’d love to give you a tour of the tiny house if you are available! Secondly, my total cost for this project was $72,000 and this includes the $7000 custom trailer, all labor costs, construction materials, furniture, fixtures and appliances. Of course, there are many ways to lower this price and make your tiny house fit your specific needs. Please let me know if you’re able to visit Sylva this weekend, and if not…we can schedule another time to meet and talk about the possibilities! Thanks and I hope to meet you this Saturday!

  • Carin Heidelbach says:

It’s beautiful! So we’ll-designed. Can I ask how much it cost to build? Would you consider selling the design/plans?

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much, Carin! • Sunshine says:

I wasn’t wild about the outside but after seeing the inside; I wouldn’t care if the outside was draped in shower curtains! This is THE best use of space, light and storage that I’ve seen yet and the decor and colors make it seem even more spacious. You did an amazing job!!!

  • Deborah L Trinkle says:

I am planning to build a tiny house, and have been looking at several for ideas. This is my favorite by far!

    Do you sell plans?

  • Joanne Lillo says:

    Erin,

I love your tiny home!!! My fiance and I are looking to go tiny once his daughter graduates in 3 years. We have been looking a various tiny homes but none have really checked off all the boxes until now. Your tiny home has all the functionality along with the tiny!
I just have a question or two…..can you use a standard or heavy duty truck to pull your tiny home? Is your tiny set up for all weather climates and how do you hear and cool it?

    Thank you,
    Joanne

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much for your inquiries, Joanne! My tiny house weighs between 14,000 and 15,000 pounds, so can be towed by a standard 3/4 or one ton pick-up truck. Since I don’t plan to move mine very often and don’t have a truck, I hired our local landscapers to move it with their flatbed pickup truck. I have a mini-split unit near the ceiling above the sofa to heat and cool the tiny house. The electric fireplace can also heat the entire tiny house, but it’s not as efficient as the mini-split. I also installed an ERV to mechanically breath for the house, since I used closed-cell spray foam insulation to create a very tight building envelope to increase energy efficiency. I also included an exhaust fan with an auto-humidity sensor that will kick on when the humidity levels within the house are too high. I live in the mountains of North Carolina, where we get snow and average temps in the 20’s and 30’s during the winter and it’s very humid and hot in the summers. I hope this helps!

  • Cheryle Schmitt says:

This is my dream home. Thank you with all my heart for sharing this masterpiece of design and construction. The lack of storage was always a concern but you proved you can have your cake AND eat it too. I am so impressed. How can I make my dream a reality?
Thank you again for sharing. your delightful design. Eye candy for those that want to leave a whisper of a footprint.

    • Erin Adams says:

Wow… thank you so much, Cheryle!! I just knew there had to be a way that I could design a space that allowed me to give up all of my unnecessary extra “stuff” and lessen my eco-footprint, but NOT compromise on the amenities found in traditional houses. Again, thank you for your kind words!

  • Paige says:

Looks a LOT more spacious and airy than such a tiny place has a right to, and I mean that in the best way. 🙂

  • Pamela McCreary says:

The most perfect tiny house I’ve seen so far! I’d love to have one like it!

  • Cecilia and says:

This is the most appealing tiny I’ve ever seen. I’m trying to figure the layout of those bedrooms and their accessibility. It’s very nice. Send me plans please!
    i

    • Erin Adams says:

Wow… thank you so much, Cecilia! The amount of math and trial and error that went into making sure the master loft was spacious enough to sit up in bed was excruciating! Again, thank you!

  • Susan says:

This is stunning! About how much was spent on it? I could live here easily.

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much, Susan!! The total cost of the build was $72,000, and includes the $7000 custom trailer, all labor costs, construction materials, equipment, furniture, finishes and appliances. • Carolyn Bryant says:

Love it. I want one just like it

  • Bobbi says:

That is by far the best use of space, design and practicality.
The colors are great, the turquoise couch is fun! Thanks for sharing. Just beautiful!

  • Ruth Trevino-Miller says:

    Beautiful! The layout is perfect!

  • Diana A. N. says:

I love the tiny house movement. People need to realize that it’s not necessary to go crazy to have a nice home. The only thing that would keep me from purchasing a tiny home is the fact I’m extremely claustrophobic. The bedroom would have me clawing at the ceiling. But, I love the full size appliances. That was one thing I wanted and you have done it beautifully. Diana A.N.

  • Sabine says:

Best layout and design I have seen so far, light, airy, feels spacious, and elegant. Could live in a place like this – do you have plans available?

  • Natasha says:

    Love it, so gorgeous!

  • Sue says:

WOW!! Being on my own , a little “older” and have been looking at tiny homes for a very long time and this house blows me away!! Love the design, layout, literally, everything!! Thank you so much for sharing!!

  • Missy Ferguson says:

Your work is brilliant! I think you have just set a new functional and aesthetic standard for tiny house architecture and design. My brain can’t quite believe what the pictures clearly show.

  • Juana says:

Hi, this is really a very beautiful home. I live part time in WNC and would very much like to actually see this home you have created. Will you be making it available for the public to see it?
Like so many of the individuals who have written such positive remarks would be interested in knowing more details regarding cost, how difficult to build, city codes for permanent placement etc
    Thank you in advance

    • Erin Adams says:

Thanks so much, Juana! I held an open house last Saturday for community members to tour it. I am waiting (very impatiently, I might add!) to get the septic and well installed on my land before i can actually move into the tiny house. I’m guessing it will be another 4-6 weeks. I’m happy to have you over for a private tour if you can share your contact information with me. I’ll reach out to plan a time!

  • Beth Byerly says:

Would very much like to know the specs on this design – I see many commenters said it’s the best they’ve seen and I concur. Are plans available? What’s was the cost? Would like to learn more…

  • Irlynda says:

I have been looking for a great house plan for years. Finally the perfect house! I can pick apart a tiny house in a second but yours is too good to be true. Thank you for sharing for sharing your inspiring home with us.

  • Sue says:

I am also interested in knowing how much the cost was as well as inquiring about the plans. This is by far the most livable tiny home I have ever seen! Great work!

I had a difficult time locating specific costs for other tiny home builds as I was doing my research. So, I plan to upload a video of my itemized costs to my YouTube channel in the very near future. Please feel free to subscribe to my channel if you would like to be notified when the plans are available and the itemized budget video has been posted, as it breakdown individual costs, such as roofing, labor, insulation, etc. Again, thank for reaching out to me, Sue!!

Great design. Would love to know all the specifics and if you will be selling the plans. Can’t wait to hear from you about your adventures actually living in it. Thanks for sharing.

    • Erin Adams says:

Thank you so much, Toy! Thank you so much, Beth! I do intend on making the plans available for purchase. However, we made so many necessary changes from the original plans while building the tiny house that they are no longer anywhere near accurate. Also, I just posted a video last week of the first time moving my tiny house. I have to admit that it was MUCH more nerve wracking than I thought it would be! It can be towed with a 3/4 ton or 1 ton pickup truck, but I do not own a truck. I hired the local landscapers in town to use their flatbed truck to town my tiny house and it worked out quite well!

Please tell us what kind of vehicle you use to pull this home and where you store your patio when you’re on the go.

    • Erin Adams says:

A regular 3/4 ton or 1 ton pickup truck can tow my tiny house. However, since I don’t plan on moving my tiny house very often, I hired our local landscaping company to use their flatbed truck to tow the house. My deck is not attached to the tiny house, but will be built as a free-standing unit as soon as I move onto my land. Thanks, Sandra!

  • Angela Koponen says:

Absolutely fantastic! The plans should definitely be sold/ A real winner!

  • Susan says:

Omg I love it…what is cost? Plans?
    Does anyone reply here?
Was good to see just the same!

    Thanks

This tiny home is way too ugly and crowded for me! Very poor layout!

  • Elaine Montgomery says:

Many of the questions I have are asked by others, but I don’t see a response. Have you addressed pricing, plans, etc? This is, by far, the best plan I’ve seen.

This home is beautiful. One of the best ever that
I have seen online. Great job and congratulations.

Would love the plans for this home. I’m retired and on fixed income and want to seriously downsize. Love your home. Thank you.

Love this layout. The use of the transition area in the stairwell for a vanity, closet, and w/d. And including a bathtub. Nice.

I think I will show these pics to my builder and see what he can create in a 36 ft THoW. I love the airy feel to it and the closet/bedroom layout is brilliant. Also like the fact that there is room for a real sofa.

  • Melissa Robinson says:

Erin-this is the best THOW that I’ve seen yet! I’ve been looking for over 3 years now for the perfect tiny design to fit my needs. Nothing comes close to matching what you designed here. You have truly created a home that is not only is functional, it embraces the tiny living movement without having to leave out some of the “wants” so there’s room for the “needs”. One of the “wants” I’m speaking of is the vanity you incorporated at the bottom of the master bedroom stairs. It was a phenomenal idea and a really cute touch that adds character to the space!

If you decide to patent your plans so you can sell them, how would you advertise them for sale? As others have mentioned here already, I would love to purchase them!

Enjoy living in your beautifully designed tiny! If you decide to sell your home, I’ll be in line to buy it!

  • Erin Adams says:

  • Sophy says:

Brilliant use of space. Moving the kitchen to the short side of the rectangle really opens the home up. And real stairs to reach the loft!

Now if only the problem of siting tiny homes could be solved. Zoning laws are, at least in the south (Georgia) not tiny house friendly). The costs of renting land on which to park are hard to swallow too.

  • Karina K Bingham says:

What part of the process did Tiny Homes do for you and what part was your contractor? Why did you need to use the additional contractor? Could you have had Tiny House Basics do all of it? How did you hook up to utilities? Dis you have any zoning issues?

Thanks, and I love your design solution.

  • Carol says:

This is just to say how beautiful I find this house. I am somewhat biased, always feeling like our house is too small and we could use more space, etc etc. It is all about how you make use of the space. Your design is so sleek and just stunning. I would be so proud to live in such a beautiful space. The kitchen is my favorite. Just beautiful. I would have to ask”Smitty” if he just had a bad day or what his problem is for
leaving such a comment. How can anyone be so jealous as to say what he did?

  • Elizabeth Ballinger says:

Your design is lovely. I like the laundry dressing area and the fireplace… nice touch. Have you thought of putting it on a permanent foundation?

So how does it hold up in weather -was it difficult to get a loan or insurance? My apologies, if the question is too personal. I live in Raleigh NC right now -would love to retire to Asheville in 10 years. So looking at tiny homes as an option. thank you

  • Sue Everson says:

    Erin,
I’ve been watching and following the Tiny House Living movement for a while now and I have to say your design is one the most beautiful and sensible designs I’ve seen.
It has the qualities and that I would be looking for in a tiny house. You are very talented and thank you for sharing with us all your accomplishment.
Keep up the great work and thank you again executing and share something so close to your heart.
