In 2002 we spent the Summer in Amsterdam for business and spent a month living on a houseboat that we rented. Hand’s down, it has been my absolute favourite holiday that I’ve ever had, despite the fact that we worked every day.
I absolutely recommend renting a houseboat when you visit this charming city!
