OMG!! How very nice, best one I have seen yet, very spacious!!!

  • Shawn says:

As a single person who rarely has guests over, I would sleep downstairs and use the upstairs either for storage or my lounging area. Would have liked to see the bathroom.

    • Eliot says:

I agree, Shawn. That area in the window is probably plenty large enough to sleep in, or use the futon.

I wanted the same thing so I looked up Zen Cottages Tiny House Bathroom pictures. This will give you some very nice bathroom pics.

  • Nancy says:

Simply stunning! I love everything about it! I’m hoping the bathroom is past the kitchen.

  • Myriah says:

Is there a bathroom? I like the design, very nice.

    Where can I buy 1 ?

Very nice and spacious. Not sure though about not having windows on the other wall of the sleeping loft, no cross breeze other than that very nice.

Beautiful breezy California style! What’s not to love about this? The only concern I have is the fact that there’s no handrail along the entire length of the staircase. It’d be too easy for some people, especially seniors and mobility-challenged individuals, to lose their balance going up or down and get hurt.

I’m assuming the bathroom and clothing storage are behind the kitchen? Such a great swoon, but pics are really lacking in that department. Lots of light and space, but not really much room for storing more than kitchen gear that I can see. That “railing” on the stairway is definitely inadequate even for those of us that are more agile. I’d definitely be sleeping downstairs in that cocoon of a window seat though!

  • Jeff says:

Fellow Swooners: Would it be at all reasonable, for all of us to lay down our guns, knives, bats and chains regarding stairs? Clearly, a mobility challenged individual would not purchase this design, and would instead, purchase a different model or have a different model designed for the specific needs? I am most certain that the person who bought this unit did not say, “Just build something nice and whatever stairs it comes with, I’ll just live with it.” I highly doubt that. I am most certain that this person designed or toured this unit, and finding it to his or her liking, put down some cash and went on their merry way. I doubt very much that they lose sleep at night wishing for a different handrail or rise/run factor. If you are designing or purchasing your own TH, I completely trust you to make a good decision for YOU and to not try to conform every single project into an abode that fits every person’s need on the planet. There, my bat just went back on the mantle where it belongs and I am just delighted to be able to see the many different designs this site offers, no matter what my particular needs or safety concerns are.

Jeff, you have a very funny sense of humor. I love your reply.

    • Kristina H Nadreau says:

thank you Jeff for your remarks. I probably do not have to point out the lack of hand rails on each staircase. also I may be able to resist commenting on the coffin style oft sleeping accommodations.
