Hello! My name is Lauren and my husband Patrick and I just finished our tiny house build in April 2016! Now, we’re traveling with our house all around the US for the next six months! We have a 20′ long tiny house, which we purchased as a “Barn Raiser” from Tumbleweed Tiny Houses in Colorado Springs. We spent 3 months finishing the house ourselves.

A Tumbleweed barn raiser home traveling throughout The United States. Finished, owned and shared by Lauren Kennedy. More info. Wanderlust Tiny House.

I believe that when I was in Texas I saw this little house at the beach! It is really cute

This tiny house was in port Aransas Texas when me and my sister was there at the beach the beginning of May. We wanted to go see if the owner would let us see the inside of it but by the time we started walking the beach to get to it,it drove off and all I got was a picture of the back of it. so when my sister sent me this Link that she saw on her Facebook I was excited cause we got to see the inside. It is so cute the colors are right on.

  • Congratulations! I live around the corner from you in Hamilton – and I am happy you finished it and hit the road.

Please post some pictures from your travels. Safe journey.

That first step out of the loft is a killer. I mean really! Love the interior colors 🙂

Very comfy. I like the fold-up table and the chairs that store overhead. I think it’s important that you have access to things you need, like tables – but when you don’t need them, you can put them away. That kitchen looks so spacious! But – if you are cranking out christmas cookies for the whole campsite, your table is there for layout space.
    Excellent! Happy travels!

Has some great features but the stair risers are too tall and my knees and I don’t like the crawl in style lofts. The TV is way too high as well. I’d never be able to get those chairs down! I guess when you are short and old you think more about things like that.

Where’s the master loft suite pics? This is really wonderful. Love what they did. Excellent job. I’d live here in a hearbeat.

Looks lovely, but for the Royals cap in the loft.

  • I love the wall color in the kitchen area. Can you tell me what color that is?

Congratulations on finishing your dream house! It’s lovely, and perfectly planned out for you. I’m so excited to see original design, so beautifully executed, too. Ignore the Negative Nellies. They’re everywhere, and so very vocal. I wish you the very best on your journeys. I know you’ll enjoy them, because you are following your dream.

Super cute, but how do you get to the storage loft? Is there a hidden ladder somewhere?
