It all began when we were invited to see our friends cabin in Topanga Canyon. We instantly fell in love with the place. There were a few cabins on the property but none of them were available to rent. We started a dialogue with the owner and he encouraged us to build our own space with his materials. We initiated the task of clearing the site, cataloging the materials and beginning construction in the spring of 2011.

Perfect. Just needs an outdoor shower and outhouse hooked up to mini drum style septic. (I’m in Topanga, husbands a plumber so I can’t go without lol)
Love it! I also live in the magical Topanga Canyon and this is quintessential Topanga style. Great use for the old wood.

Would u have a contact email?
Cheers

I love the openness of this plan! It is lovely. Is there a bathroom and kitchen separate from the cabin itself, or is this cabin used mainly for a vacation/camping type get-away?
Hi. I love what you did. Was it hard to get the proper permits for that? Did you even need one?
