I love the cat walk loft…but the lower level looks like it lacks living space – from a lounging perspective. I can’t imagine that little bench would be comfortable for very long.

I see the living room in the second loft room. I could do a lot with the walkway between the two rooms. I also saw room for a chair or love seat near the front door. I like this house.

I love the cat walk and connected lofts a lot. I would use the second loft for a lounging and as a secondary sleep area when needed. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of room downstairs for comfortable furniture.

I would have to have standard sized steps. I can just imagine the popcorn in one hand and a drink in the other and trying to lift my legs high enough to climb the steps. No banister of course. Deadly.

I also love the utilization of the entire upper floor by connecting the two lofts with the catwalk. I agree that a handrail, at least attached to the wall, is necessary. I do like the stairs with storage underneath.

Nice place, especially if you want to spend your indoor downtime upstairs, but I can’t get past the placement of the air conditioner. Cold air falls, so I think the lofts would be very stuffy in warm weather. But then again, I’ve never cooled a tiny house! It just makes sense to me to put a cooling unit as high as conveniently possible.
