This tiny house, built in Alabama has “craftsman” written all over it. Perfect choice of color and masculine interior goes perfect with its colors.

One of the best layouts I have seen. Love this!!!

Wow, love this one, except for the fake fireplace. Nice aesthetic otherwise.

    Just beautiful- Whats the footage 8.5 x 30 ?

  • Shirley Huber says:

Wow —- absolutely gorgeous. Everything is beautiful. Wouldn’t change a thing.

I like everything but the bathtub; that would have to be a walk-in shower, because I’m not about to climb over a high wall into a slippery-bottomed potential fall hazard! When I move to the South this autumn, I’d like to find something like this to live in–but that high platform sleeping area will just be nice storage for my empty bins and off-season items. And I think I’d have my minister’s older children do the climbing to put the things up there–they’re very young, very thin, and very agile!

This is many things, including totally gorgeous, but it is not a tiny house. A small house, yes, but not tiny.

Wow – that looks so inviting. Though I don’t get excited about full size fridges, I get very exited about full size furniture. If I owned it (and I wish I did) I’d make a few changed. Lose the fireplace, and add some storage. Slide the leather sofa away from the kitchen and replace it with a nice deep L-shaped sofa. That would allow for a little breakfast bar with a couple of stools. That’s just personal though – still very nice as it is.

Love the interior – apart from the big bulky worn couch (looks out of place) and fake fireplace.

This house is beautiful! That being said, I don’t understand the reason for the catwalk as it looks like it goes from the above-kitchen bedroom to nowhere. It’s true that I could put potted plants beneath the windows along the catwalk, but does it have a destination that is necessary for living in the tiny house? Also, as to the “hole in the wall” shelf in the bathroom: why is it partially closed from the bathroom, leaving a reach-around shelf, when it could have been an open shelf all the way to the outside wall? I do love the Craftsman details in this home, though.

That there look like a tiny /mansion/ to me. I thought this was Tiny House Swoon, but I guess this is Tiny Mansion By Any Other Name Swoon. See, I thought the point of this whole tiny house movement/phenomenon/thing was “hey, let’s see what we can get rid of in our lives that’s holding us down, including the space in which we live that’s enabling us to collect so much junk that we really don’t need”, not “hey, let’s see how much house can we fit on a trailer before the cops tell us we need a CDL*, lol”… this trailer-house (and many other, similarly-featured dwellings on this site) speaks far more to the second philosophy than the first.

Just the voice of one curmudgeon and his opinion, that’s all.

*For those not in the know, a CDL is a Commercial Driver’s License, at least in the US… vehicles that are over a certain size, even if not being used for commercial/business purposes, often require a CDL just because they’re big.

Ack, will the webmaster please fix his coding? That was three paragraphs with a white space in between each one, before it posted!

Its still a tiny house. Maybe not tiny enough for you, but still a tiny THROW by definition.

  • Brenda says:

I love this! I really like the fact that there’s a real couch in there, and a cozy-looking one at that. (Instead of a sad-looking wooden bench with a cushion I see in most tiny houses)

  • Sally says:

You have a FABULOUS trailer!!!!. To much for me but it’s definitely something to brag about. Thank you for letting me see your home.

  • Cheryl says:

The couch would be perfect if it’s a reclining couch. Also looks like there’s room for an additional small chair. Now add one of those 1/2 size dishwashers and it’s perfect. I want a tiny HOUSE, not a live able sardine can. Did anyone see a fold down table for meals, card games, computer, etc…?

  • tthom2 says:

By far, hands down, the nicest thow I’ve ever seen. I disagree with those who comment that somehow because you want to “go tiny” – you have to go “no frills” sardine can. This is beautiful quality tiny. Every detail is gorgeous. Probably would be pricey too . . . but . . . .worth it – if you can afford it. I had to do a double, triple take after reading the comment about the cat walk “to nowhere”. I just assumed it connected the 2 sleeping lofts – but – – where does it go to?? And I love this counter-depth full size refrigerator. Most tiny houses have one of those ugly “compact” fridges with wasted space above. These make the best use of the space (I think they measure something like 24 x 24 x 78). It’s not clear to me how much height there is in the lofts. A couple pics look like you could stand (if you’re not too tall) – – and a couple look like you gotta crawl. Some size detail would be interesting to see. I think my favorite detail is the quality and beauty of all those craftsman windows throughout.

I love this tiny home! The carpentry is perfection and the layout is awesome. I think the catwalk would be great for plants and for little guests to sleep when visiting. If you had a cat they would love to roam in this space. As a sewer I would use the 2nd bedroom as a sewing area. Of the kitchen a drop down table could be added with a couple of stools for eating/games etc. Lovely colors throughout.

  • Lisa E. says:

Wow. This is really nice. I could live here, no problem.

  • Dorothy says:

The catwalk to nowhere is a great place for some storage pieces, bookshelves or plants. Sadly for me I’d have to use the second bedroom since it has the steps. No laddering and crawling in for me! There is lots more info on their website.

  • texasdoxiemama says:

This is about as close to perfect as I’ve seen.

  • gmh says:

I think the catwalk to nowhere ends in a small loft above the restroom, but I can’t be sure because there is no definitive photo. This company does gorgeous work- every day I go to their site and drool over the Denali model and then look for land in my area… I only wish the website included floor plans. I know they build per person, and they do very individualized stuff, but floor plans are always nice. I also wish they weren’t clear across the country from me. Sigh.
