Absolutely gorgeous!!! This tiny home is nicer than most apartments I’ve ever lived in…and maybe some of the houses too! My husband and I are consciously down-sizing our lives, having just gone from a 3 bedroom townhouse with a basement to a 1 bedroom apartment. Our next step is to hopefully find our “perfect piece of land” in Victoria, BC so we can buy a few acres and then build our dream “small home”.

The design of this house is so simple and elegant. I love how you’ve incorporated things like the hiding bed and the storage under the bench seats. Everything has a place, and there’s lots of room for personal objects and temporary decor for holidays.

Thank you for sharing your home with us…it’s stunning, and I wanted you to know that.

This is BY FAR one of the best floor plans and best use of such a small space. I LOVE IT!!!! It is so open and looks so inviting. It is hard to believe that is only 210 sq. ft!! GREAT JOB! WHAT AN INSPIRATION!!

Beautiful plan! The roll-out bed and the coffee-cum-dining table are so clever. Is that stainless steel for the kitchen cabinets and bathroom wall panels? And is the exterior made of fibreboard or natural wood?

What a great tiny home. This is one of the very best I have seen. Very modern and much thought put into this construction. Thank you for sharing it with the readers.

Very inspiring! Would love to get the details on this house plan. Love the simplicity of the design, I think that is the Key here. Congratulations.

Gorgeous! Every bit of space used so beautifully.

Well done! So many people use too much of the space on the kitchen. I love that it doesn’t try to mimic living big in a small space and some good decisions have been made about what to let go of and what to keep. I’m dancing with my resistance to not having a separate shower when I imagine myself in the space AND at the same time I think I could get past that.

love the elegance of this tiny home…..though I believe many people are unaware that this design has an eleven foot
wide foot print….not the more commonly seen eight foot six inch that we are use to in most of the tiny homes . cheers

[…] Another gem at Boneyard Studios is the Minim House. The general layout of this home is fantastic, as well as a bit wider than your typical trailer-mounted tiny home at 10ft. But what I really love and may try to implement in my own tiny home design is the placement/hiding of the bed. In the romanticized version of my tiny house in my head, I have a loft that houses my bed, including a pretty skylight and cozy atmosphere. Realistically, however, the last time I had a lofted bed, I ended up sleeping on the floor most of the time. Granted, I was in middle school, but I don’t think my lazyness has changed that much. Me + ladders = not a good mix. Photos of Minim via Tiny Houses Swoon. […]

I’m looking to build my own and this is the best tiny house (or micro home) I’ve seen so far. I absolutely love it. I’d love to just take the plans and recreate it but, I want the one I build to be a little more mine. I will be taking a few of your ideas such as the moveable table (which is brilliant). Honestly, job well done! Cheers.

Where is this community of eclectic tiny homes? The hardest part of tiny home building is finding a place to park. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to say that this was my inspiration for building my current 12 x 28 tiny house. I looked at many designs, but none of them had quite the “wow” factor of this open floor plan, and I was immediately drawn to the openness, and spacious feel. Simplicity at its best! Well done.
