Oh my gosh- that fireplace/mantel!!!!!!! <3
that mantle is gorgeous!
so too are the colours I could certainly live there nice job!
Nice work! I’m in Northern IL too, can I ask where you got your trailer from?
I keep coming back to look at the photos. This little house looks bigger than all the others I have seen. Seems airy.
It may look bigger than it really is. It’s only an 8’x18′, but it IS built out over the wheel wells, which definitely makes it feel roomier 🙂
love the modern look
I’m in the planning stages of doing the same, love, love, love your tiny house! So far, very well done. I too love the mantel, and color choices also. Keep up the good work, it will happen!
Karen
love your tiny home. What is the maximum height total?
Mary
13.5′ in height, I believe.
Absolutely stunning! Love the height in the sleeping loft. Love the glass in the door. Love the window treatments. Soothing colors, yet all the bright spots – fun! Great job.
i used to live in Aurora & can’t imagine where this would be! I also love the idea of a tiny house & this one is so cute!!
I love the tiny fireplace and the colors used in this tiny home. Good job!
I love your tiny house! Me and my girlfriend live on the north shore of Chicago and are building a tiny house in 2015. We are looking to network with other people into tiny houses, is there a way to contact you?
I love the clean style but have an odd question. The table seems so close to the benches as to appear unusable for the average person. Was this done for staging in order to make the area look bigger. LOVE the fireplace!! Makes the place look like a real home. Alas, the ladder which seems to be the norm in so many homes would have to be changed for me, because I am semi disabled, and older. But overall the place is a keeper. Thanks
I watched the videos of her making this house and the table is removable and it swings out so that you can get into the bench. Very thoughtful design element, I think
Clean, uncluttered, great use of available space.
Good job, less is more !
Looking for a tiny house for sale, is this one available? If not, do you know anyone who has one for sale? I live down by Houston about 30 miles. I’d like to talk if you could give me any leads. Thank you. Cheers, dee
We build homes/tiny homes. We are currently building a small cabin for ourselves. You can contact me through email, barneydionnejohnston@hotmail.com. If interested, please put need home ASAP, so I will jot erase. Thank you
I love this one, I saw the videos of her making it on YouTube and she was just a doll, so peppy and upbeat and such a hard worker. Looks like she made most of it herself. She has some great ideas and not just the same ole, same ole like we see in many of the tiny houses.
She was looking to sell it and build another one for herself, I hope she sold it and got what she wanted for it.
What stove is mounted under the mantle? Love!!!
Hi love this tiny house. Looking for info on places to park one in Aurora area.
Can you email me info? Also what is the price on this one? can u send me the
information.
Thanks
This home conquers the “knotty pine” overload I see in so many tiny abodes. The sleek color scheme helps calm the eye and makes the space expansive. I can’t use a ladder because of a stroke I had in my 30s after my car was rear-ended. Has anyone ever experimented with pull-down stairs, such as are used for attic access?
I love this house and the color scheme. Can you tell me approx what it cost to build? Was this the first one you ever built? Thanks for your replly.

Where did you find the fireplace for the tiny house? Thanks
Can you tell me the brand and model of the fireplace you used? It is beautiful 🙂
Thanks!
I’m echoing another poster: where did you find the small fireplace, I’ve been trying to myself, but only find ones built for larger rooms.
I have a friend with the larger one, they are VERY cozy and evocative of a real fireplace, quite soothing!
Please let us know!
It is wonderful. It is hard to find one so small. I am looking to add one to my condo. Who is the manufacturer? Was the mantle from the same company?
Can you tell us where you got the mantle?
The electric “woodstove” looks similar to the one I got at Walmart. They sell them in the fall.
