Beautiful home! Love all the plants! My kind of living!

While tiny houses often seem to have an amount of similarity, this one seems to combine most of the good design ideas.

The standing seam roof, storage/staircase, a full kitchen with a real oven rather than just a microwave or toaster oven combined with a cooktop (completely inadequate to real life for anyone who enjoys developing recipes), 100% off-grid capacities, dormer loft, and a great location — to me this is the ideal of tiny living.
    Thanks for sharing.

Excellent decision regarding the exterior stain. Very handsome. I knew I recognized this home, researched and reviewed your January/winter post.

Your place is getting better with time. Very handsome.

So I have a question – which Tumbleweed model are you using? I couldn’t identify it?

Also, congratulations on your kitchen – I love to see a tiny house with a full oven/gas stove rather than hotplates and popcorn cookers that so often beg the question of real life in a tiny home.

Thank you so much for sharing your adventure. I’m very interested in your ability to live in the place precisely because you didn’t build it yourself.

I’m assuming you are a normal person who had to learn about the solar operations, compost, and propane hookups as a new thing and weren’t a high-tech person to start?

Love your project! Thanks for sharing it.

    • Thanks! My place has some customization, but basically it is a 24” Cypress Overlook model if you a looking at Tumbleweed’s listings. And yes, I’m very normal in that I know nothing about wiring, propane hookups, building, etc when I started this project. 😉 I’m glad you enjoyed it!

I’d like to see pics of the bathroom; is it a wet bath? I agree with Annette, this has a fully developed kitchen more along the lines of what most people have/need; it’s very well done. The whole thing is, in fact; and is an inspiration to us all. If she does any more work on this place, I hope she will post the updates. This build seems longer than the average THOW. Can we have a link to the original post; maybe it will provide the dimensions of this TH. Also, since this TH is relying on solar power, could we have the information about how she achieved this; parts, hookups, equipment needed, how much of it covers how many house needs, etc. Also, what state is this in? She seems to have a lovely piece of ground for her THOW; some of us would like to follow suit. Thank you 🙂

Oops! My bad! I didn’t see the link and didn’t read the posts there (which has all the answers to my questions!)

This is a really nice build and I love what the owner has done with the place; looks FABULOUS! Thanks for sharing your journey with us! 😀

The shoe hooks by the front door are brilliant.

I love ask the little touches you did, Ariel, to make this home cozy without making it feel small. The green plants inside, flowers outside – just lovely! Looks like you’re getting in the gardening spirit! If you’re going to do some in-ground planting, a couple of perennials you might like are yarrow and lavender. They’d be great for drying and hanging from your high ceiling, providing scent and color. Yarrow comes in native yellow but also pinks, lavender, white and vibrant fuscia!

Love the design….will definitely save for my ‘library.’ And the beautiful flowers all around add a lovely touch!

I love tiny homes, but some seem so impractical. I really like seeing ones that are actually being lived-in. Yours is great! Thanks for sharing.
